The temporary disposal site of Gunung Balong, Jalan Lebak Bulus III, Lebak Bulus Urban Village, Cilandak, South Jakarta will be refunctioned as retention basin. The plan is based on residents complaint about the disposal site.

“The site will be closed in December. It will be used as retention basin and green open space,” said Tomy Fudihartono, Cilandak Sub-district Head, Friday (9/9).
During this two years, the dump site is operated to accommodate waste from three urban villages namely Cilandak Barat, Lebak Bulus, and Pondok Labu.
